Leadership Programs
Committed to serving society's leaders

The Hendrickson Institute’s mission is to serve current and emerging leaders of society. In addition to traditional scholarships, the Institute has developed a variety of programming on ethical leadership.

Currently the Hendrickson Institute offers three programs for businesses and non-profits:

  • Business Owners’ Round Table
  • Hendrickson Forum for Ethical Leadership
  • Leadership Breakfast Series

In 2007 the Hendrickson Institute was moved from Winona to Minneapolis, allowing the expansion of programming within the Twin Cities community.

For more information on these programs, please contact Lindsay McCabe at lmccabe@smumn.edu or (612) 238-4219.

Business Owners' Round Table

A monthly Business Owners’ Round Table meets to discuss current ethical issues such as Character and Values; The Early Years of Starting a Business: Obstacles, Opportunities; Walking the Walk: Leading a Diverse Company; What is Work Ethic? Barriers and Opportunities for Leadership; The Late Years: Continuity in Your Business; and Following Through with Your Values.

Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership Forum

The Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership Forum was established by a generous, anonymous donation in 2007. The Forum’s purpose is to recognize an ethical leader with an annual award and to educate the Twin Cities community about topics related to ethical leadership in an annual, educational event.
