Fr. Berinti is a member of the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood religious order and currently serves in the Diocese of Orlando on the pastoral staff of the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center. Before beginning ministry at San Pedro, Fr. Berinti served as pastor of two diocesan parishes, Saint Andrew in Orlando and the Church of the Nativity in Longwood. Prior to moving to Florida, Fr. Berinti spent the first 12 years of his priesthood in ministry to higher education as a professor of religious studies and humanities, campus chaplain, and residence hall mentor, serving at St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, IN. and Saint Xavier University, Chicago, IL. Fr. Berinti holds an undergraduate degree in English literature, a Master of Divinity from Catholic Theological Union at Chicago, and a Doctorate in Ministry from Boston University School of Theology.
