Michael Shanahan is a licensed and practicing Marriage and Family Therapist in Winona, and has been a facilitator and presenter for the Master of Education program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He received his Bachelor of Arts in theology from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska and his Master of Divinity degree at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California, where he was also trained as a spiritual director. He has also worked in campus ministry and served as pastoral associate for a large suburban parish in Wisconsin. Michael and his wife Jenny (a professor of Literature at SMU) have two young boys. Michael enjoys family events, camping, hiking, bicycling, and playing guitar.
