Nancy Dallavalle is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at Fairfield University, a Jesuit school in Fairfield, Connecticut. Following her undergraduate degree in music from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, she received an M.A. in Theology from St. John's University in Collegeville, and the Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. She has taught at Fairfield since 1993, and has been associated with the Jesuit National Seminar and the Lilly Fellows Program as well as serving on the Diocesan Pastoral Council for the Diocese of Bridgeport. She has published articles on trinitarin theology and feminist thought in scholarly journals, and has given papers at the AAR and the CTSA. Her work has appeared in the National Catholic Reporter and Commonweal, and she recently enjoyed speaking to groups at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, Robert Wething, a marriage and family therapist, and their four children.
