|Assistant Men's Hockey Coach|

The Assistant Men’s Hockey Coach is partially responsible for the recruitment of student-athletes for the men's hockey program as well as assisting in the overall management and development of the program. This position typically recruits for a roster of approximately 28-32 student-athletes and is expected to produce a team which competes in the top half of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In addition, the other portion of the position will entail instruction in physical education classes and other duties as necessary and applicable to qualifications.
Coaches within the athletic department fulfill the Lasallian mission of the University through their daily interactions with students. Coaches are teachers of student-athletes on and off the field of competition and form lasting relationships with student-athletes, allowing for mentorship athletically, academically, spiritually, and personally. In addition, coaches contribute to the university priorities through their attention to mission, teaching and learning, recruitment and retention of students, fundraising and budget control, and visibility/communication with internal and external constituencies.
