Position Responsibilities

The Twin Cities campus of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota seeks a Program Coordinator in the Graduate School of Health and Human Services.  The Program Coordinator provides academic program assistance, support, and coordination to the Program Director, faculty, and students of the MA Marriage and Family Therapy and PsyD Counseling Psychology programs.

 

The Program Coordinator role supports the Program Directors to manage course and student oral examination schedules, assist with event planning for program activities (interviews, presentations, meetings, colloquia, etc.), manage and organize a large amount of program-related data, and tracking and managing payments for vendors and consultants. The ability to work productively with diverse stakeholders, including students, clinical supervisors, and community members is required.

Essential Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have advanced skills in data compilation and reporting, and technology-driven solutions, including Google Suite, Excel, MS Office. SPSS experience preferred.
  • Be highly organized and skilled in project management.
  • Have willingness and ability to learn new technologies.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required and experience in a higher education setting preferred.
