Position Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing academic program assistance, support, and coordination to the program director, faculty, and students of the Master of Arts in Instruction program and the English as a Second Language program.  
  • Build course schedule according to program planning.
  • Facilitate successful admissions experience for adult learners.
  • Manage student enrollment, progress, and program completion.
  • Assist and support registration processes and answers student inquiries.
  • Assist with securing the assigned faculty for program-planned courses.
  • Assist with managing, evaluating, and refining program policies, procedures, and outcomes.
  • Provide textbooks and course materials to faculty in conjunction with the bookstore staff.
  • Prepare and manages the Blackboard online learning platform.
  • Perform troubleshooting for students and faculty (assists with CAMS, Blackboard, and Taskstream.)
  • Answer general questions about course schedules, registration, holds, and all SMUMN processes.
  • Deliver licensing application to the Minnesota Department of Education.
  • Participate in meeting and events, as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
