Position Responsibilities

The Systems Support Specialist will provide computer and multimedia support to faculty, staff, and students via telephone, email, and in person.  The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be self-motivated with strong customer service skills.

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Computer lab management
  • Classroom orientation and technical training
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • A/V multimedia support
  • Upgrading software

  • Ability to communicate and interact successfully with a diverse community of faculty, students, and staff

  • Occasional off-hour and weekend support for special events

Education and Experience
Minimum qualifications:  High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of IT experience or an Associate’s degree.  
Bachelor's Degree in IT related field, Certifications (A+, Microsoft) preferred.
