Fostering Faculty Development

The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) promotes, supports, and facilitates faculty development initiatives and programs on the Winona Campus for its teaching faculty.

At Saint Mary’s, the enhancement of teaching and learning is foundational to, and flows directly out of, the university’s commitment to its mission.

With offices in the Twin Cities and Winona, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) assists faculty members in becoming better teachers by creating, making available, and overseeing opportunities for faculty members to develop and deepen their professional and collegial skills so as to become more effective and productive in promoting student learning.
