Improving teaching and the learning environment

The Vice President for Academic Affairs is the primary academic officer of the College and oversees curriculum, academic policies and procedures, faculty, faculty development, assessment of student learning, and academic support services. The Academic Affairs office serves as a clearinghouse for faculty and curricular issues as well as student academic concerns. The office helps lead efforts to improve teaching and to create an environment that enriches opportunities for effective student learning. The office also seeks to promote a culture of scholarship, research, and performance among undergraduate students and faculty, both individually and in collaboration.

The Office of Academic Affairs is located in Room 107 in Saint Mary's Hall. The office is staffed during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) throughout the academic year.
