Committed to an Accessible and Affordable Education

Advancing your education can be a major investment, but it is one that pays lifelong dividends in career improvement and life satisfaction. At Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, we are committed to making that investment as accessible and affordable as possible for everyone.

Approximately 97 percent of all undergraduates at Saint Mary’s receive some form of financial aid. Every student’s situation is unique. Assembling the right mix of financial aid options for you will help you feel confident in your educational investment.

If you are an active-duty service member, reservist, veteran, or a family member of someone who has served, we encourage you to reach out to our Office of Military and Veterans Services for financial aid options unique to your situation.

Types of Financial Aid

  1. Scholarships and grants, which do not have to be repaid
  2. Loans, most offered at low interest rates with repayment deferred until after graduation
  3. Work-study, which can provide student employment income right on campus. We do not offer work study at at SGPP.
