A Liberal Arts Education

A Saint Mary’s undergraduate education is a liberal arts education. This means that while students focus on a particular major as preparation for future careers, they also study subjects outside of their major area—with the goal of creating well-rounded, critical-thinking, future citizens of our globally interdependent world.

English Language Assistance

Saint Mary's De La Salle Language Institute offers two programs to undergraduate international students who require English language assistance. Our comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program helps students prepare for the TOEFL exam, and our unique English Language Bridge (ELB) program serves as a transition between full-time ESL study and full-time undergraduate study.

Feel at Home in Winona

Our beautiful campus in Winona, Minn., located in the majestic bluffs of the Mississippi River Valley, is home to about 1,400 students in the residential undergraduate program. The undergraduate program, which is aimed toward obtaining a bachelor’s degree, is at the heart of all the academic activity on the Saint Mary’s Winona Campus.
