So during last night’s volleyball match we celebrated DIG PINK which is to raise awareness for breast cancer, as well as the senior on the teams. This year there are only two seniors; myself and Erika Hurley. (The athletic website has a full article about the game and your seniors) I cannot believe that night actually came when I have been looking forward to it since I was a freshman here at SMU. There were so many fans at our game which made the atmosphere even better. The SMU XC boys each painted one of our players numbers on our back and decorated our locker room before the game. The mens and womens basketball teams were also there to support us. We will have to make sure we support them at their games as well. CARDINAL PRIDE! Being injured the night was a little bitter sweet, but it felt wonderful to be acknowledged. We played the St. Ben’s Blazers and unfortunately lost 1-3 last night. Today we have another conference game against the Concordia Cobbers! LETS GO RED!!!
