So midterms were this week which is usually pretty busy, but to add on top of that I had my ACL surgery on Wednesday, so that made the week even busier. Because I knew that I would be having surgery this week, I was able to talk to my professors ahead of time and take my midterms ahead of time. That is what makes SMU so special. Professors are able to work with you in order to work around situations. I was able to talk with my professors and work out a schedule which is something that you might not find at another university. This is one thing that I would really take into consideration when choosing a university is how personal everything is here and how professors will take the time to get to know you and genuinely care about you as a person as well as a student. I know a lot of other universities are not this way, so hopefully this may help to make a decision!
