Case competition

The strategic management case competition is finally here. This is the week that my group and I basically spend every minute trying to come up with the best way to advise a company on which strategic goals to pursue in improving their current situation. There are 10 groups that are competing against each other with a 50 minute presentation to Saint Mary’s faculty members and business leaders in the community. The case we were given was about a dairy farm and some possible steps that they could take to become more profitable. With only a week to write a 12 page paper and come up with a 50 minute presentation, it will be a very stressful week! I am glad I like the subject because that makes the preparation more enjoyable.
