Today was the second semester Elevator Pitch Competition. This is a competition where each student is given 60-90 seconds to convince an investor to invest in their business idea. The students present this one minute speech to a panel of judges that includes the business faculty and can include others from the Saint Mary’s community. I have participated in this competition in the past, and it is a great experience not to mention the great prizes for the winners! The Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies sponsors the competition and provides the cash prizes for the winners. It is amazing to hear about the creative business ideas!
