As part of the university's commitment to be "an ethical leader in the movement for environmental sustainability," our Resource Guide & Daily Planner received a makeover in Fall 2008. The publication, which contains policy information and a day-by-day scheduler complete with Saint Mary's events, is provided to the students, faculty and staff of the undergraduate College.

In addition to reducing the number of its pages, the paper used on the interior of this publication is now 100% acid-free and 100% produced from eucalyptus trees. The tree is cut just above the roots and used in its entirety (bark, branches and leaves). From the remaining root, the eucalyptus tree is able to re-grow to full size within one year.
