The students attending the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs are as diverse as the programs offered. The vast majority of students are working adults who are balancing the demands of career, family, and civic responsibilities. While the gender ratio and age vary within each program, overall, 61 percent of the students are female and 39 percent are male. The median age is 33 years with an age range of 22 to 72 years. There is an ongoing effort to listen to the concerns of students and to attempt to deliver a quality, accessible educational experience that addresses the diverse needs of students.
