Mary Jo has worked many years with the Minneapolis Public Schools in the Arts for Academic Achievement program, developing curriculum and coaching both teachers and teaching artists on integrating arts into the classroom. She has consulted with arts organizations, government councils, and public schools throughout the country on arts education programming. Mary Jo teaches Arts Education.
