The safety and well-being of our communities presents an increasing challenge in today’s changing world. We look to public safety administrators to lead and manage our multi-faceted public safety organizations. These professionals must build partnerships, solve problems, and protect assets and individuals while maintaining civil liberties. In addition, service demands often exceed budget capacity, resulting in a need to be more efficient in providing quality service - both on a daily basis and during disasters.
An M.A. in Public Safety Administration will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a successful leader in this demanding field. This program will help you develop your management abilities and allow you the opportunity to foster partnerships both within the community and other organizations. The program is delivered in a blend of in-class and online sessions and is designed and taught by practitioners working in the field.
