M.S. in Accountancy

The demand for accounting leaders continues to increase nationally in both public and private sectors; specifically, accountants that are business partners. Saint Mary's new M.S. in Accountancy program provides students with the skills and knowledge to move into accounting management positions.

The M.S. in Accountancy program offers:

  • An avenue for accounting students to get the additional 30 credits needed for CPA
  • Professional skills and knowledge required for accounting management positions
  • Exploration of emerging accounting and business topics
  • Models of lifelong learning and continuous improvement
  • Means for enhancing accounting proficiencies, confidence, and success

This program may also help meet the 150-hour requirement for the CPA exam and/or the requirements for the CMA certification. It builds upon the successes of the B.S. in Accounting program and allows students to continue their accounting education, and addresses the needs of current employers seeking leaders in accounting.
