For students who will be earning their first teaching license: To earn an initial teaching license, students must complete an additional 17 credits of Education courses. These courses are part of our Master's of Arts in Instruction (MAI) and will complete your documentation for the Standards of Effective Practice which are a requirement for every MN teaching license. These students need to complete the following courses.
