Daniel Silversmith earned a B.A. in mathematics from Grinnell College in 1985, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 1991, and a Psy.D. from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2000. He has worked as a clinician, researcher, and professor. He is currently on staff at the Minneapolis Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of Substance Abuse Disorders, dual diagnosis, and sexual disorders. He has provided clinical supervision for trainees for a number of years. He previously worked in the Minnesota Correctional Department. Nonprofessional interests include spending time with his family, travelling, athletics, and reading.
