Paul Thuras, Ph.D.

Paul Thuras received both his Ph.D and Masters degrees in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. He received his B.S. in Psychology from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He is currently the Research and Evaluation Program Director in Mental Health at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis where as a statistician and research methodologist he provides administrative and research support. He serves as statistician or co-investigator on four federally funded grants and is an author on over 125 peer reviewed publications, primarily within the mental health field. In addition to teaching at Saint Mary’s University at Minnesota, Dr. Thuras has taught at the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud State University.
