Dr. Teigland received her Masters and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas. She currently heads her own practice in Eden Prairie, specializing in anxiety and depression in older adolescents and adults. She previously worked in the counseling centers at the University of St. Thomas and Hamline University. At Hamline University, she co-created and co-directed a task force on sexual violence prevention. Her research interests include self-help, feminist psychology, anxiety, and sexual violence prevention. Dr. Teigland joined Saint Mary's University as an adjunct faculty member in 2012.
