Faculty Naomi Schwenke, Ph.D. MA Marraige and Family Therapy - Adjunct Instructor firstname.lastname@example.org Naomi is a therapist, researcher, and educator. She has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and marriage and family therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Family Studies at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA. Her research focuses on individual and relational wellbeing among same-sex couples that are legally married, in a civil union or domestic partnership. As a therapist she works at Rekindle Counseling in Edina, MN with couples and families who are facing many dilemmas that are influencing their relationship such as trust, intimacy and sexuality, parenting conflicts. She also works with individuals who are facing dilemmas such as grief and loss, anxiety and depression, shame, relational conflicts, sexual abuse, sexual identity, and life transitions. At Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota she teaches counseling skills, counseling theories, psychopathology, and assessment courses.
