Christa Suerken is a licensed psychologist and received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Washington School of Professional Psychology (WSPP) at Argosy University, Seattle. She earned her master degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH. After receiving training and experience within correctional environments and community mental health, Dr. Suerken has worked in private clinical practice for ten years, both in the US and within a group overseas in Frankfurt, Germany. She is a certified therapist in Eye Movement Desensitization Reintegration (EMDR). Her professional interests include diagnostic assessment, psychological testing, psycho-trauma, and healing the inner child from within. Given her international experience, she is interested in the effects of multiculturalism on development, self-identity, and in society. She has presented on various topics to collegial, corporate, and student audiences.
