Alexa Hanus is a Doctoral Candidate at the University at Albany, and is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Minnesota. She will receive her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in August, 2014. She has six years of experience working in community mental health and college counseling centers, and her clinical interests include identity development issues, interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors and emotion regulation, and mindfulness. Her research interests include clinical supervision and training, anti-racism education, and multicultural development.
