Faculty Samuel Fink, Ph.D. Counseling & Psychological Services Program - Adjunct School Professor (507) 289-2174 firstname.lastname@example.org Dr. Fink received his M.Ed. in community counseling from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1977 and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in 1980. He has been served as an adjunct faculty member with Saint Mary’s University at the Rochester Center for nearly 25 years, having taught a wide array of courses during that time. He taught counseling courses for several years with Winona State University in the late 1980s, and prior to that he taught at Ball State University as a graduate assistant and counseling psychology intern. He worked as a psychologist and clinical supervisor in community mental health settings in Minnesota for 25 years before entering independent private practice in 2007. In his practice, Dr. Fink specializes in the treatment of adults for anxiety, depression, anger problems, and relationship issues using primarily cognitive-behavioral methods. Through his practice he provides a free, twice-monthly seminar to teach cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) concepts and skills to interested students and beginning professionals. Dr. Fink has twice received the Outstanding Faculty award from Saint Mary’s University, in 1998 and 2008. He holds membership in the American Psychological Association and the Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies.
