Bill Handschin has been a management consultant for 22 years and is president of his Saint Paul-based firm Talent Management Consulting, Inc. He earned his Ph.D. from the Psychology Department of the University of Minnesota. He also earned an M.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Zoology from the University of Minnesota. He has taught courses in psychological assessment, personnel and vocational assessment, statistics techniques and research methods, and management development at St. Mary’s University. He has also taught psychological assessment at the University of Minnesota, where he is an adjunct assistant professor in the Counseling Psychology Training Program. He co-authored "Reinventing yourself: Life planning after 50 using the Strong and the MBTI," and written several white papers on management issues. He has numerous co-authorships from his previous career in the bio-sciences. He has presented to professional and non-professional audiences and has held responsible positions in professional and non-profit organizations. He recognizes that there is a tremendous amount to learn about the world and encourages others to start their life-long learning early.
