Carl Isenhart is a licensed psychologist and has been providing mental health and substance use treatment services within the VA system for over 26 years. He has been at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center since 1991, and he is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Minnesota. His doctorate is from the University of Denver, and he is a licensed psychologist in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He holds a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the American Psychological Association’s College of Professional Psychology.
