Faculty Andrew John, Psy.D. Counseling and Psychological Services - Adjunct Program Assistant Professor, Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology - Core Professor (612) 728-5164 email@example.com Andrew John received his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. He is a Licensed Psychologist and the Internship Program Supervisor at Domestic Abuse Project, where he has also been a therapist for 11 years. Andrew has provided individual and group therapy services at DAP for men who have been abusive in their intimate relationships, women who have been abused by intimate partners, and children who have witnessed abuse in their families. He has also provided couples therapy, training to local agencies about domestic abuse, and is invited to be on panels and present in conferences about domestic violence. Andrew uses a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, systems, and psychoeducational techniques when he conducts therapy. In addition to his work at Domestic Abuse Project, Andrew has a private practice providing therapy and evaluation. He is also an adjunct professor in the Master’s and Doctoral Psychology Programs at Saint Mary’s University and Argosy University.
