Patricia laPlante received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the CSPP program at the University of Minnesota in 1991. She served as the Director of Counseling & Health Services at Hamline University until 2005. She also worked at University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, the Rape & Sexual Assault Center and Control Data Employee Assistance Program. She maintains a private practice in St. Paul and has taught courses at Saint Mary’s University since 1989. She teaches Counseling Theory and Orientation to the Profession of Counseling.
