David Vaughan has been a practicing social worker since 1974. He received his MSW from the University of Kansas in 1980.Since then he has practiced in multiple settings, including psychiatric crisis intervention, working with chronically mentally ill adults, providing home-based family therapy for families with children at risk for out of home placement, and for the last 18 years providing child and family therapy within the Health Partners Staff Model Clinics. He was involved with the clinical team at Health Partners in developing their assessment and diagnosis template for Autism and PDD.
