Janet Yeats received her Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota. Janet’s research interests are in how families are impacted by war, genocide and tribal conflict. She has studied and worked with families and professionals in Kenya following recent conflicts in that country. In private practice, Janet provides therapy specializing in the areas of trauma, grief and loss with individuals, couples and families, attending to issues of culture and spirituality.
