Ginny D’Angelo has been teaching Marriage and Family Therapy classes at Saint Mary’s University since 1991. She received her Master of Science degree in Counseling from Iowa State University and a post-masters Certificate in the Family Therapy Program for Community Practitioners from the Menninger Foundation. As an MFT, Ginny has provided therapy to families, couples, and individuals in agency, hospital, and clinic settings. These have included public, private non-profit, for-profit, and private practice venues. Ginny is also an approved supervisor with AAMFT and with the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. She has been an active member of the Minnesota AMFT, having served as the board Secretary, an at-large board member, and Training Director. In 1999, she received the association’s Colleagues Award, and was also awarded MAMFT’s Rosemary Dummer Award for 2007. Saint Mary’s University recognized her as Outstanding Faculty in 2000.
