Clayton Houff joined the Saint Mary’s faculty in January of 2008. He received an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Human Services from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Minnesota. Clayton has worked in human services for over 40 years in corrections, residential treatment, home based therapy, substance abuse, and private practice. Clayton lived and worked on the Lake Traverse Sioux Reservation in South Dakota and served as an instructor at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal College in Sisseton, SD. Clayton was recently elected to the board of directors of the Minnesota Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
