Saint Mary’s University opened its Minneapolis campus in 1984 to focus primarily on meeting the needs of adult students in graduate education as well as bachelor degree completion programs. Saint Mary’s helped pioneer the accelerated programming format and has experienced significant growth over the past few decades.
Saint Mary's has expanded along Park Avenue South several times since 1984. The latest addition is Saint Mary's University Center.

Public Transportation
A Metro Transit bus stop is located on Park Avenue and 25th Street. Easy access to downtown and Nicollet Mall transfer station. The Metro Transit Hiawatha Light Rail and bus stop at Franklin Avenue is a short distance from the Twin Cities Campus. Light rail serves downtown, airport and the Mall of America.
