Winona Venues

We Have What You Need

The Winona Main Campus has multiple facilities of varying sizes to accomodate any event. This includes banquet and reception rooms, classrooms, conference and seminar rooms, auditoriums, and athletic facilities.

Banquet and Reception Rooms

Room B - small dinners with up to 32 guests

President's Room - receptions or small dinners with up to 48 guests

Toner Student Center Lounge - receptions or small dinners with up to 80 guests

Toner Student Center Dining Room - large receptions or dinners with up to 450 guests

Conference and Seminar Rooms

 The Toner Student Center has three rooms that can be used as meeting rooms:

  • Toner Student Center Lounge
  • President's Room
  • Room 9

The McEnery Center has one classroom-style room that will seat 20 and four conference rooms that seat up to 12 each. Saint Mary's Hall has 21 classrooms and four conference rooms that seat up to 90. The Toner Student Center, McEnery Center, and many rooms in Saint Mary's Hall are air-conditioned.


More than 40 pre-set classrooms and seminar rooms are available with seating capacities ranging from 12 to 116.


The Performance Center houses the Joseph Page Theatre, Figliulo Recital Hall, and Ben Miller Lobby. Page Theatre is acoustically designed to give everyone the best seat in the house. Theatre seating capacity is 450 with handicapped accessibility. The Figliulo Recital Hall seats 116. The Ben Miller Lobby of the Performance Center is adorned by "The Mediatrix," a 14-foot by 50-foot fresco, one of the largest in the midwest. Two smaller 16-foot by 13-foot frescos frame the entry.

The Salvi Lecture Hall seats 90 and is located on the third floor of Saint Mary's Hall, the oldest building on the Winona campus. This lecture hall is equipped with audio/visual equipment.

The Toner Student Center Lounge is used for receptions and small dinners. Large windows offer a scenic view of the bluffs. The room can accomodate groups as large as 150. Easy access from available parking is a benefit.

The World Room, in Saint Mary's Hall, is a tiered-style classroom that seats 60. It is equipped for both teleconferencing and normal classroom use.

The Common Room is a 45' x 35' air-conditioned room in Saint Mary's Hall with unique architecture and a 15-foot deep stage. It can be set up reception-style for 150 people, or with seating for 60.

Athletic Facilities

Gostomski Fieldhouse encloses more than 200,000 square feet of multi-purpose space. It includes an indoor track and ice arena; 25-yard, 8-lane pool; fitness center; and dance studio. Inside the track, four courts can be used for basketball, volleyball, or tennis. Saint Mary's University also boasts several miles of hiking/skiing trails and an 18-hole disc golf course, which winds its way through the wooded bluffs. Other outdoor facilities include a challenge ropes course, soccer, baseball, and softball fields, and outdoor sand volleyball. 


Conveniently located and pleasantly furnished housing accomodations range from double rooms with private baths to single residence hall rooms. Two-bedroom village apartments have private baths and kitchens. Housing for 350 guests is provided in air-conditioned facilities with an additional 440 in non-air-conditioned rooms. Each residence hall features attractive lounges, laundry facilities, and a TV room. Linens are provided if requested in advane. Campus Safety is open 24 hours a day to meet your needs no matter the time. Ample parking is available.
