All international students and full-time undergraduate students are required to have health insurance. Students are automatically enrolled in the health insurance program at the beginning of the academic year.
Non-international students covered under a parental policy may opt out of the program by completing the waiver form AND providing a copy of their health insurance card by August 15, 2008. Students who do not complete a waiver will be billed for the insurance policy and an additonal fee will be added. Charges for insurance are not reversible.
SPECIAL NOTE TO ATHLETES: The NCAA requires all student athletes to have a minimum of $75,000 of health care coverage that specifically covers athletic injuries. You must be able to provide proof of this insurance prior to practicing in your sport.
Part-time undergraduate and graduate students may enroll on a voluntary basis but must pay the fee directly to the insurance company. Please go to the enrollment link below to enroll. You may also contact Tracy at Rust and Associates (1-800-336-0747) should you have questions regarding a payment plan.
