Mary-Kate Martin—Hosea’s Heart
Teacher and social entrepreneur, Mary-Kate founded “Hosea’s Heart”, a non-profit organization. The aim is to build a home in Swaziland, Africa, to allow young girls to continue their education. Mary-Kate is a high school teacher in La Crescent, Minnesota.

Jeff Van Fossen—CodaBow

Todd and Laura Roessler—Elmaro Winery
Entrepreneurs in the growing Wisconsin and Minnesota winery industry they operate the Elmaro Winery. It is a family business operating a vineyard, a winery, and a bottling business. They offer exciting and fun-filled events at the winery to promote their product and industry.

Karla Bloem—Houston Nature Center
Director of the Houston Nature Center, in Houston, Minnesota, Karla is the founder, a naturalist and an educator. She has blended her love of owls to create the Nature Center and an annual International Owl Festival. People come from across the country and around the world to attend and present interesting information about owls. Another true social entrepreneur, she has worked with others to create the center. Karla will be accompanied by her owl, Iris.
