High school students invited to SMU business idea contest

Aspiring high school entrepreneurs are invited to enter the Elevator Pitch Business Idea Contest, sponsored by The Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and the business department at Saint Mary’s University.

All high school students who have ideas for starting a new business are encouraged to enter.

Winners will receive $1,000 in prize money, Saint Mary’s University scholarships, and many other prizes.

Contestants will create an idea for a new business and answer a brief series of questions about that idea. Entries must be submitted online by Feb. 15. For complete information and a contest entry form, go to
