Hendrickson Forum – April 17
There are seismic shifts taking place in the world order that are affecting the global economy and the rise (and fall) of nations. What are the experts tracking and what precautions can you take?
Join us in exploring possible scenarios and associated risks with Dr. Ian Bremmer:
- In a leaderless, “G Zero” world, how is power shifting and what does that mean for global governance?
- How might competition for scarce resources affect the economy?
- What should companies and individuals be tracking, and how can they manage associated risks?
What questions do you have?
Bremmer studies the loss of leadership, especially as we’ve defined it since World War II. He and his staff analyze global political risk, noting disparate changes in international affairs and pulling them into a coherent narrative. We will walk through what’s going on in the world, how it impacts the U.S.A., and how those impacts may affect our lives.
The Eurasia Group provides information to international government and corporate leaders, as well as via national news media. Bremmer’s most recent book is, Every Nation for Itself: Winners and Losers in a G-Zero World. You’ll have a rare opportunity to hear his views and ask questions at the Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership: Forum 2013.
