Junior Year

l      Talk to faculty, advisors, career services & internships, and others to discuss graduate programs

l      Read graduate program materials (Peterson’s Guides, websites, catalogs)

l      Determine admission and test requirements, application deadlines, test dates, etc.

l      Obtain application and financial aid materials

l      Begin writing personal statements

l      Take graduate admissions tests

Senior Year – Fall

l      Request letters of recommendation

l      Request transcripts to be sent

l      Complete & send in application materials

l      Contact schools to make sure application is complete

Senior Year – Spring

l      Visit schools

l      Schools will respond about acceptance or non-acceptance

l      Decide which school to attend
