About The PowerTrak MBA

Students can choose from two curricular options: design their own general management program or select an area of Specialization. International and ethical perspectives are integrated throughout the MBA curriculum.  The graduates of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota PowerTrak MBA are prepared for a career in the business world because they have a foundation of strong business skills, cultural acumen, and independent thinking bound by ethics.

The PowerTrak MBA Program stands out because:

  • It is a wholly internationalized MBA.
  • It is one program with two options to fit specific backgrounds and needs.
  • It is an exceptional value for each educational dollar.

Each MBA Program consists of a 21-credit business Core and two options to complete your degree: the Custom or Specialization Trak experience. For an outline of the MBA Program, please review the Program-At-A-Glance.

The Custom Trak Program

The Custom Trak Program allows each student to tailor his or her program to acquire a general managerial perspective.  Custom Trak students can choose courses from a variety of discipline areas or from a single area, depending on their needs.   View a sample schedule of the Custom Trak MBA.

The Specialization Trak Program

In addition to the Custom Trak, the PowerTrak MBA Program offers classes in areas of specialization.  Students following this Trak gain in-depth knowledge of a specific discipline area, such as finance or marketing. The Finance specialization offers classes such as Managerial Accounting, International Finance, or Project Management. The Marketing specialization offers classes like Marketing Research or Advertising and Promotion. View sample schedules of each Specialization Trak MBA.
