New Students
New student orientation for the Twin Cities campus is held approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester on the Saint Mary’s campus at 2500 Park Avenue from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. For an upcoming schedule and agenda, please click here.
This is an opportunity to become acquainted with the university and the services available to students. All new students are strongly encouraged to attend.
MBA Advisors
Each MBA student will be assigned an advisor. The advisor helps students plan their degrees, ensures that all prerequisites are fulfilled, gives career advice, and answers questions related to the program. You can check the name of your advisor in Webtools.

Sample Schedules
The SMU MBA can be completed in 20 months for the Custom Trak option by attending school two nights a week. Specialization Traks can be finished in 24 months if a student attends school two nights a week. A tentative class schedule may help you plan your time. View examples of scheduling charts for the Specialization Trak or the Custom Trak. The charts do not include any foundation and/or prerequisite courses you might need.
