Transcript Requests - Winona Campus and Nairobi

All transcript requests must come from the student. We do not accept requests for transcripts via e-mail or telephone as we require the student signature.  Transcript requests coming from someone other than the student must be accompanied by a signed records release from the student.  NOTE: If you took classes on both the Winona and Minneapolis campuses, please direct your request to the campus you attended most recently. If you are unsure through which campus the classes you took were offered, please call to verify.

There is no charge for up to 10 transcripts in a 6 month period if you attended classes or graduated from the Winona Campus. If more than 10 transcripts within a 6 month period are requested, there is a $5 charge per transcript.   Transcript requests are usually fulfilled within 24 hours of receipt.

Please include your name, social security number, the approximate years of attendance, the number of transcripts needed, where you want them sent, and your signature. There is a $3 charge per transcript if you attended classes or graduated from the Twin Cities Campus.   Your transcript request will not be fulfilled until payment is received.

All Degree Verifications

ENROLLMENT OR DEGREE VERIFICATION INFORMATION

If you need enrollment or degree verification for insurance, employment, or other purposes go to www2.smumn.edu, Web Tools, choose Enrollment or Degree Verifications.  This service is free to our SMU students who use the SMU website.  You may also call National Student Loan Clearinghouse at 703-742-7791 or go to the National Student Loan Clearinghouse website: www.studentclearinghouse.org.  There is a fee using National Student Loan Clearinghouse directly.

Your username and password to log on to Web Tools has been sent to each student via your SMU e-mail address.   If you have not received this information, please contact the Help Desk at 507-457-7800.

Please note that enrollment verifications are held until you are actually in class each semester.  So we advise you to not access enrollment verifications until after your class begins.
