Assessment of General Education at Saint Mary’s includes the assessment of the General Education Content Areas, the Core Programs, and the four primary Skills Areas. Each of these areas has devised its own particular goals and outcomes, and assessment tools are designed to measure the success the program has in reaching these objectives. Frequent reviews of both the results of this assessment and the assessment tools themselves ensure that the programs conduct their work through decisions based on concrete, relevant data.
