School of Graduate and Professional Programs
Overview

The Office of the School of Graduate and Professional Programs – Winona is headed by James Bedtke, Vice President for Graduate and Professional Programs – Winona and Associate University Provost.

This office oversees operational and fiscal planning for the School of Graduate and Professional Programs – Winona, as well as manages the integration, coordination and implementation of the academic policies of the University as they pertain to these programs. The hiring of academic administrators, development and implementation of curricula, and assessment of student learning in the graduate programs on the Winona campus are also governed by this office.

The Vice President for Graduate and Professional Programs – Winona works closely with the Vice President for Graduate and Professional Programs – Twin Cities in coordinating many details and policies between the programs. The Associate University Provost works closely with the University Provost to assist with planning and policies related to academics. James Bedtke also serves as the Dean of the School of Business overseeing the faculty and administrating the academic functioning of the School.

Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office, maintains office files; manages contract requests for academic staff and adjunct faculty; manages the vice president’s and dean’s schedules; routinely interacts with staff, faculty and students; and coordinates special events as requested.

Organizes the day-to-day activities of the office; maintains office files and databases; relays information to inquiries of graduate programs; manages the collection of graduate applications and student documents.


Office Location

The Office of the School of Graduate and Professional Programs – Winona is located in Saint Mary’s Hall in room 107. The office is staffed during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
