E-Business Technology Major (39 credits): The curriculum for the e-business technology major consists of three parts: the computer technology core, an interdisciplinary mix of required and elective business and computer science courses, and a senior capstone experience. The computer technology core provides the technology fluency necessary for all later work. The interdisciplinary mix of business and computer science courses provides both breadth and depth across the e-technology discipline. During the capstone experience, students work in teams with other majors in the department to do requirements analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of a complex, real-world e-business system. This major supports a student who wishes to pursue careers in businesses and organizations in which Internet-based activities are a key component of the enterprise.
